Behind the scenes of the Communico team

About us

Why Communico

impart, share, partake, participate in, join, unite, add, link, connect, make common, bring into common use

We are a London-based networking group, created with the sole purpose of bringing together like-minded professionals from across the data centre, cloud and telecoms industries via informal networking events. This community has formed to build collaborative relationships, to share knowledge and develop personal contacts and opportunities.

Unlike any other networking event across these industries, Communico Networking seeks to retain an informal vibe, which encourages the development of alliances and partnerships, without the corporate hallmarks of other trade events.

We have an Advisory Board with a combined 75+ years of experience across the three sectors, formed to drive the ongoing growth of Communico Networking and to ensure diversity and breadth across our community of members.

Communico Networking – the industry collaboration point for Data Centre, Cloud and Telecoms.

Elliot Shaw

Recruitment is my life but Rugby is my love, not that I tell my wife that!

Over the past 25 years I have been involved in recruiting and placing people globally starting with Media then Professional Rugby Player Management and ending up, for the last 12 years in the incredibly fast-moving world of data centres. For the last 6 years I have been running my own successful Global Data Centre Recruitment company Eight6seven.

I have a true passion for what I do, helping people enhance their career or providing clients with a solution to a problem only fuels this passion but always remember recruitment is not an exact science and anyone that tells you otherwise hasn’t done it for long enough, people are people, clients are clients and everyone has their own agenda.

My agenda – keep it as simple as possible, help wherever you can and enjoy the ride!

To find out more about how Eight6seven can help you or your company with Data Centre or Mission Critical recruitment call me for a confidential chat on +44 (0)7814 020559 or feel free to email me at
